This hand typed document by Harry Ridgeway was found in some of the historical archives at the City of Jenkinsburg. Informational history like this should be preserved for later generations to read. Many of the youth that benefited from the Butts County Recreational programs continue to live in Butts County where their children and possibly their grand children have enjoyed the recreational and athletic programs that were made a reality because of the commitment and dreams of those who came before us.
